Welcome to Dropfield.

By accessing or using Dropfield, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What Dropfield Is (and Isn’t)

Dropfield is a location-based platform for sharing short, place-anchored content.

Dropfield is provided "as is." We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

Eligibility

You may use Dropfield only if you are legally permitted to do so under applicable laws. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Dropfield complies with all local laws and regulations.

Use of the Service

You agree to use Dropfield in good faith and in accordance with our Code of Conduct, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

You agree not to:

Use Dropfield for illegal purposes
Interfere with or disrupt the service
Attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access
Misuse location data or features to harass, intimidate, or target others

Content You Submit

You are responsible for the content you submit to Dropfield.

By posting content, you confirm that:

You have the right to share it
It does not violate applicable laws
It does not violate the Code of Conduct

License to Dropfield

By submitting content, you grant Dropfield a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service.

This license ends when the content is removed from Dropfield, except where copies are required for technical, legal, or backup purposes.

Moderation and Enforcement

Dropfield may remove content or restrict access to the service at any time if we believe these Terms or the Code of Conduct have been violated.

Enforcement actions may include:

Content removal
Limiting visibility or posting ability
Temporary or permanent restriction of access

We are not obligated to provide notice before taking action, especially in cases involving harm, abuse, or legal risk.

Location Data

Dropfield relies on location data to function.

By using the service, you acknowledge that:

Location access is required for core features
Your browser or device controls whether location access is granted
If location access is denied, some or all features may not function

How we collect and use location data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

Dropfield may rely on third-party services or infrastructure. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or changes caused by third-party providers.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Dropfield is provided "as is" and "as available."

We make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or availability.

We do not guarantee that:

The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
Content will always be available
Location data will be accurate

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dropfield and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with Dropfield is to stop using the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Dropfield after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

The effective date at the top of this document indicates the most recent revision.

Termination

You may stop using Dropfield at any time.

You may also request permanent account deletion from within the app.

When account deletion is completed, Dropfield removes your user account and associated service data needed to operate your account, including drops you authored and related moderation/interaction records tied to that account.

Deletion is irreversible. Limited records may be retained only where required for technical backup integrity, fraud/security prevention, or legal compliance.

You may sign up again in the future, but a new account will not restore content removed as part of a prior account deletion.

We may restrict or terminate access to the service at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms or the Code of Conduct.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Dropfield is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
